Overall
Search of Serenity Realm is game I'm developing. It started out as a cliché joke game. But as I developed more, it turned out actually my priority project. It was started in summer of 2009 and I have done it with changing interest. In it's most basic form it tells about a boy who's trying to find and kill the murdered of his parents. He's helped by his sister and two friends who join him during his quest.

Great to see that you put it up here, PP! Wow! I never knew that this was so close to be done! Remember to give contact to Oblivon3O or me when your game is released. That way, we can move it to the "Completed Games" topic

Well only things missing right now are minor bug fixes and some sidequests. So you are able to play the full story atm.

The story and characters are well developed

I would be very pleased if someone would play this trough and would give me some feedback. Because I'm living mostly to my own intuition and would like to have more opinions about this overall.
I'm starting to play this trough again so I can see if it's possible to play it trough and find those little glitches but all help is appreciated.

it would be awesome of you would LP this.
I just notice all the time small bugs that piss me off cause I haven't seen them. Luckily my friend also promised to play it trough and tell me what he thinks about it.

Needs tinting and fogging in the maps. Especially the snow and the caves.
Going to try the beta and see.

I've played up till the inside caves of the mountain(forgot the name of the mountain).
It's pretty good so far. Battles are fun but there are still some stuffs that could be a little improved on.

1. When I was running around in the fields and it became night, I couldn't see a thing, literally. Make it less darker please. People who wasn't that strong eyes might actually not see a thing.
2. Check the grammar. There are grammar errors a little here and there. If you're having problem with English as not your first language, I suggest finding a proof reader.
3. There are lots of errors with your BGM files. Alot of them are missed, even though I placed ALL BGMs you posted for download.
4. Add some tinting to your maps man, and fogs can do wonders too! It's not that hard Some animals would be nice too
5. When I became able to learn skills,(I don't know if that's is supposed to be that way) Kios had live OVER 9000!! AP :O Wow, I actually learned like 20 skills or so there!
6. Sometimes it feels that your just using to much different BGMs. Your scenes aren't that long, but still some had like 5 different BGMs which I somehow find a little annoying listening to one from another in just one small scene.

1. This is an issue I don't have cause I can see it from my own screen. But I'll change so everyone should enjoy it
2. Yeah, I've improved quite a bit since I started the project and I notice all the time my grammar mistakes.
3. This is an issue I'm very acknowledged and I said it even in project description. I'm sorry about it, this happened mostly when I tried to remove all unnecessary files but couldn't remember which ones I had.
4. Doing at the moment. But I'm not very good with them so it's little slow.
5. This is a hard problem for me. I tried to give less AP but then it gave too much, so this needs fixing. So feel free to dig into the script and give me suggestions if you feel like. BTW do you enjoy the skill AP system overall? I thought it would be more fun than let the game decide which skill actor could learn.
6. Okay, I'll see what I can do. Never actually thought of this, but probably true. I've tried to change it in later parts of the game, but thanks for noting.
I'll make a small patch today for some of these and other small bugs I've noticed. Please tell also what you think about the dialogue and story. No one has said pretty much anything about it to me.

Patch is now officially released. I've fixed some of the points said here and some that I have noted myself. Still lot to do... -___-'

Seems like nobody is giving you feedback on your game and i feel very bad man. Anyways I'm not even done the demo yet but I shall finish the game soon because I wanna give you some real feedback. Stay tune

It seems that the final bosses are actually beatable at normal levels.
That's a relief, hadn't tested them before.
Patch number three hopefully appears today, be sure to get it. Contains lots of bug fixes and important stuff.
