There is a legend that 500 years ago there were was battle for the world of Nerumia. People with a power that they called 'Malice' caused terror and death in the world, wanting their leader to rule it under an iron fist of destruction. They had almost succeeded, until another leader appeared with his power and allies. Their power that rivaled that of 'Malice' was called 'Purity'. The battle between the two forces lasted for days until only both leaders were left. Their fight was intense almost leaving Nerumia nothing but an endless wasteland. That is until A dark shadow appeared before both of them and caused a massive explosion of light engulfing both leaders and this dark shadow. Nothing was left of their existence except for the memory of that gruesome battle which came to be known as the War Of Chaos.

500 years later people have been born with these two unexplained powers. Some have been born with 'Malice', Others have been born with 'Purity'. As a result people have called those with the 'power' ROC'S, which stands for Reincarnation's Of Chaos. The Holy council finds and captures these ROC'S and tests them to see if they are safe enough to live in a populated society.

Lyria:
Lyria is a girl who likes to help people whenever she can. She is an ROC and her family kept her powers secret so the holy council wouldn't take her away from them. Her family died when she was 13, so she had to learn very quickly how to live on her own. Her power is 'Purity'.



Rein:
Rein's origin is unknown since he cannot remember his life up until his 20's. He is kind and rarely ever get's angry. He always wears that blindfold yet he can still see everything. Why is this? He is also an ROC and his power is 'Malice'.



Grant:
Grant is laid back and hates when he has to fight pointless battles. He has a wife and a daughter which he cares for very much. He is also a very accomplished swordsman, but why is he traveling instead of being with his wife and daughter?



Riko:
Riko is very quiet most of the time. She is not an ROC but she can somehow use a portion of the powers 'Malice' and 'Purity'. She also hates the Holy Council and Dawn too.



Kain:
Kain is the all around happy guy and a 'potion expert' which means he can create different potions that have different effects. Apparently he thinks Riko is a 'Super Hot Chick'.



Ruby:
Ruby is Grant's wife, she usually scolds grant for his laid back behavior sometimes but she truly loves him with all her heart. Why is she okay with him traveling since she barely sees him?



Nel:
Nel is Grant and Ruby's daughter she loves exploring and is usually found try to dig underground or searching for caves or passages. She loves her parents very much and hopes to become a great explorer and learn the art of the sword like her father.



Meraku:
Meraku appears before Lyria and her friends countless times usually to give hints or challenge her to a fight. Why does he do this and is he really a bad guy like he keeps saying?

Aros:
Aros is the leader of the holy council and king of the legendary city Vylen.
He cares for the people and hopes to expand the city of Vylen to all regions. He is also an ROC but nobody knows what his power is.



Zero:
Zero is Aros's body guard. Zero is cold and sadistic and questions why Aros cares for 'those weaklings'. He is an ROC and his power is 'Malice:'.



Niya:
Niya is also cold like Zero except she hates anybody with the power of 'Purity'. She is romantically involved with Zero and has an deep hatred for Lyria. She is an ROC and uses the power of 'Malice:'.



Jay:
Jay is the most silent one of the holy council. He personally does not like Zero or Niya because of their deep hatred for the world. he serves Aros because Aros had saved his life when he was child. He is an ROC and uses the power of 'Purity'.



Dawn:
Dawn has no morals, she likes to do whatever she wants when she wants. The holy council got a hold of her before she somehow joined them. She is an ROC and uses the power of 'Malice'.



Mulio:
Mulio loves women as he always tries to get them to love him. He uses his guitar to cast hypnotic spells and illusions. He hopes to someday have at least 40 wives.
