I don't know if any of you have seen the new "extension" for RPG Maker VX, RMVXAce that's coming out in Japan on December 15th, if you haven't seen it, here's a link (in Japanese)

From the looks of it, theres going to be a more powerful script engine (RGSS3) as well as a built in character maker like famitsu. Also a new system in battle called TP, which I presume is like Overdrives and Limit Breaks although I may be wrong.

I personally like the idea and hope to get it as soon as I can. Hopefully (fingers crossed) it will remove the Tile limitations as well.

What are your thoughts and opinions?

I agree. If this doesn't come out in English, I won't be too happy.

First off, I hope ACE gets translated to English, because somewhere I read it may not.

It looks pretty good from what I've seen and read about it, but I haven't really got a
great deal of information from it, so we'll see when more info comes out!

It seems like it could be pretty cool. After all, it does give us RGSS3 and all. It will be a while before we start seeing scripts for it though.

Yea, that's a possibility too. However, I'm sure we'd still be able to use RGSS2 since all Ace is, is just an Add-On to VX. Which means that they are only giving us extra features. I doubt they'd just trash RGSS2 aside with only an Add-On.

I'm not very fond of VX, so I hope this really has some good stuff! :O

Yeah I hope this will get released soon and I hope the price is just less than $60 for those who buy as soon as the release (Well, it's just an addon right) and those who buy along with samurai pack will get like 20% off for each (Even though I already have one )
I also hope this addon has its price fair against the addon's content. I mean, who would buy for $100 only for a char gen and some nice script... It's kinda... Unfair (Even though the screenshot is awesome but people have different opinions) But anyway, soon as this release I will get it soon

(Actually, I'm still confused on which version will I buy, the Japanese one, Because it is the very original version and no mis-delete and stuffs (Remember how the US Enterbrain messed up with the Game_Interperter script?) Or the US one (A lot understandable than Jap one))?

I'd definitely purchase this product. I went on EB's page when they updated it, so I was definitely excited.
