Bit biased. You should put RPG maker games, because my favourite is Quintessence the Blighted Venom by Reivier.
The music is all original and the opening is simply spellbinding.

Man there's a lot of VX/XP games out there. My favorite game must be Feral dreams by kelarly and Quintessence the Blighted Venom[XP]
A lot of games are still in development like: Linus Amulet of Athos Lunar Wish ect...

Well that's easy it has to be the Tales of a drunken paladin series and the reason why is well its completely hilarious it is literally one of the funnest games I have ever play I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already. http://www.drunkenpaladin.com/

Hmm, hard to choose... Well I suppose, PHM, Kazeko and the Midnight guild, Drunken Paladin... Can't seem to remember any others lol...
And my favourite game thats still in development has to be Twice upon a Hero! Epic game

Passage Of The Hollow Moon by kelarly has one of the best plots of any game I have ever played! Definitely my favourite VX game.
