There is nothing in the world that I hate more (idiots are about the same). That's why I'm going to promote this forum over any others, especially VX.net, where the members may never express opinion, are prohibited from asking for reason or correcting members of staff or inner circle, and will always be at risk of public humiliation for nothing other than staff revenge, 'because they can'.

Why stay here? Rpgmakervx.net has loads of members.

Yes, they do. But do all of those members like you? Do they speak to you whenever you're online to say hi? Do most of them say anything useful in YOUR threads? How many have offered their help to you for your projects? Because honestly, you can have any number of animals in a zoo. It's all pretty meaningless if 99% of those animals are always asleep. It works the same way for a classroom situation too. Do more people in your group make it more interesting? No. There's just more idiots to make a lot of noise and hate on you.

What threads? Those two that you wrote a few days ago? Maybe they were asking for help with things that other users have no idea about and don't want to spam the thread and get your hopes up.

Really. What do you want from members? Post reams and reams of pointless junk to bulk the forum up just for you? Quality overrules quantity in all cases. Be proud to have a small forum full of good content than a bloated one full of crap.

When a member makes a little mistake, it's the start of the apocalypse. The other way around, and the thread is deleted, no evidence to prove them wrong. The so-holy unbreakable bloatheads in their ivory towers just want you to be a good little member and donate all your ideas to them. Just watch their own game projects expand with all your resources!

I totally agree with this, in fact, this is one of the reason I started RPG Maker Heaven. We may not have 100K members but we have 49 and we're still a big family supporting everyone! In sites like VX.Net, I see lot of views, members and posts, but I don't really see so much activity there. I think Heaven has ALOT more life in here then alot of other sites.

I agree with luiishu535. This forum makes us feel close to everyone here rather than VX.net coz there are less members. Also, the rules there are stricter than here...

heres a story about why corruption is wrong:

Once upon a time there was a company which went by the name of Gameforge they hired a community manager named 'Exxo' who was filled with power.
Exxo decided to get some members named Gump and Doxa to run for Game Admin.
A few months later Exxo corrupted Gump and Doxa who began to do bad things to the community.

They banned people they did not like, Hired there own real life partner and set them as Senior game master. Even on the GMs real characters they had given themselves high levels and items for themselves.

A few years later and cracks began to appear, a knight in the community had shown to the community the evil which Gump, Doxa, Suelee and Exxo had done. The community began to hate them and eventually Gump and Doxa had stopped working for Game Admin.

Suddenly Exxo was angry and after a few months of the heat dieing down he re-recruited Gump and Doxa and turned them upon the community again.
Gump was filled with so much corruption at one point he and Exxo planned something to ban all of the Metin2 Staff exept of course his beloved Doxa and Suelee.


It was a black few months for the community we witnessed in horror as he began to hire even more players from his guild to become Game Masters with him. Until the hero knights rose up and began to fight off the evil forces of exxo.

They stepped down, Good had triumphed over his evil forces and eventually the evil Exxo had been replaced and a good game admin was re-hired into the community however the fight in the community took it's toll, for the community had splitten up.
Members went there seperate ways.
It has never been the same since.

Brool story co. Anyways, that Metin2 was really messed up. Far worse than VX.net. Back then, you could have spent £3000+ on your character just for the GM that hated you to come and ban you for 'haxxx', use the no evidence excuse, and clean your character like the vultures they are.
